Carol is an energetic and sensitive fiddle player from the North East of Scotland – currently resident in London. When you see her playing you will notice a subtle red tassle on her fiddle. To those in the know this marks out some of the more exceptional pupils of the legendary fiddle player and tutor Angus Grant. Angus didn’t give these away lightly. There is a spirit in her playing which will captivate you. On her CD Carol was accompanied by Martin MacDonald, a gifted guitar player now resident in the North East of Scotland. At other times Carol plays solo, with other accompanists or in ceilidh dance bands.
